On 26th August 2017, Exercise Stone Pillow (EXSP17) will once again be held at Dorrington Park, outside Enoggera Barracks, Ashgrove QLD.

 

Exercise Stone Pillow is now in its fifth year. Participants register for EXSP to spend part of the day and one night sleeping outdoors to experience what it is like to live rough. They pay a registration fee which also forms the donation. All other services and food provided are underwritten by external funders or provided by the Army.

 

We are very excited to announce that this year we are sponsoring a new program, a new Division of Wounded Heroes Australia –

to be announced June 2017.

Wounded Heroes is a frontline service, emergency/crisis provider; we do whatever it takes to fund support services for deployed personnel, the wounded, and their families. This is principally done by providing short-term emergency relief payments to individuals and their families, although funds are also available for other purposes where a need exists. 

​

In 2017, we are honoured to welcome the Lord Mayor Graham Quirk and Lady Mayoress Anne Quirk as our Patrons for this event for our Homeless Heroes. 

​

This is a family activity and a NO Alcohol event. 

​

We have the support from Army (7th Brigade), RAAF Amberley and HMAS Moreton with one of the largest interactive military display at the event.

​

Brisbane Roar are coming along for the kids (and the big kids) with our annual "Penalty Shoot-Out" Army v Navy v Airforce. Army won last year so let see the Navy & RAAF Defence Members take them on!
